National Beta Club
The Junior Beta Club of Callaway Elementary School is an organization for 4th and 5th graders whose purpose is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service.
Beta is an academic honors program with a strong emphasis on community service. It was founded in 1934 by Dr. John W. Harris, a Wofford College professor. Its motto is "Let Us Lead By Serving Others."
Here at Callaway, students are awarded membership to our organization based on their grades, test scores, leadership qualities, and character traits.
If you have any questions regarding our organization, please contact our sponsors, Ms. Edwards and Ms. Walker.
